Can the Zwave module used be used as a bridge to insteon devices?

So I have the ISy994 installed at my house. I'm moving soon and want to install insteon at my new house. New house has a 2gig gc3 panel. It has a built in zwave controller and works through the alarm.com app. I'm happy using MobiLinc for light automation, but my wife wants to be able to use the alarm.com app. Question is can we do both? For example turn exterior lights on through the alarm.com app will signal zwave from the gc3 to the isy and then to the insteon switch.

Yes, you can use most Z-Wave products to control Insteon devices (via programs) and vice-versa.

Right, but remember in this case I wouldn't have any zwave devices just the controller and I'm not sure if the controller could "see" the insteon devices through the isy.

A Z-Wave controller cannot see any Insteon devices nor can Insteon devices respond to Z-Wave. A program is needed to interface the two. But, not all Z-wave devices report their status. Lutron Z-Wave devices do and a few others. but I don't have a list. You may need the 2gig panel to control an otherwise unused Z-wave device.
