Random Times

It would be helpful when using the ISY for security lighting especially, in the home, to have a random time off.  If lights come on at sunset and off at 11:15 pm, the 11:15 time could be set at a random time to turn off  within 45 minutes of set time that would be great.

That capability already exists.

Set the earliest time you want to the program condition.  Then add a "wait" of 45 minutes, and check the "random" box.

 

Example:  I have "ghosts" that turn certain lights on and off while I am gone.

        'Alarm / Partition 1' Status is Armed Away
    And From    Sunset  - 30 minutes
        To      12:30:00AM (next day)
 
Then
        Repeat 100 times
           Wait  10 minutes 
           Wait  10 minutes  (Random)
           Set 'Downstairs / Couch Lights' 70%
           Wait  10 minutes 
           Wait  10 minutes  (Random)
           Set 'Downstairs / Couch Lights' Off
 
Else
   - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
