cam Posted October 5, 2016 Share Posted October 5, 2016 All notifications are working if I send them from my default (gmail) account. However, I setup a few custom notifications (Customized Content Screen) where I'd like the email sent from another email account (non gmail). However, regardless of what I put in the FROM address the email is always sent from my default (gmail) account. Is this an issue with the ISY or gmail? Link to comment
Techman Posted October 5, 2016 Share Posted October 5, 2016 The ISY only has provisions for one email account. The "FROM" field allows you to customize the specific email ,i.e. "from Alarm system", but not the email account Link to comment
MWareman Posted October 6, 2016 Share Posted October 6, 2016 Gmail replaces the 'From' address with the address you set in authentication. No way around that. To filter, use a subject line prefix and create rules in Gmail. Michael. Link to comment
