ELK M1XEP setup in isy?

Just wondering where to find the TLS password and username on the elk setup in isy is it for the panel or ELKRP?  And is the access code supposed to be the master code or the user code?

ISY does not support connecting to the M1XEP over the secure port. It's not necessary when on the same network either.

 

This is because the M1XEP uses a non-standard TLS negotiation unfortunately.

 

You'll need to use ElkRP to set things up properly.

One other question. Is a good idea to have isy use an access code that allows full access to the elk or have it limited?
