thall Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 I'm having problems figuring out how to use Agave. Currently, it's installed and works on my Lan/WiFi network. But when I turn off WiFi on my phone, I can't control anything. I purchased the Full Access version of Agave and the ISY portal module (which shows as active on the Universal Devices page). On the Agave Settings page, the option to Enable Portal Access is grayed out and cannot be selected. I don't know how to enable portal on my ISY. On https://my.isy.io/index.htm, I have access to my ISY and have been able to set up my Amazon Echo. What else do I need to do to be able to access my ISY with the portal. Thanks P.S. The way I understand using the portal is that it gives me access to my ISY when I am away from home.
G W Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 To use Agave when you are away from your local network you need to add the Internet address of your router. Then you will need to forward that port to your ISY. You may also use the ISY portal which you can purchase from UDI. Feel free to ask more questions if you need help. I'm Gary Funk. dbuss Posted November 29, 2016 Posted November 29, 2016 Did you enable portal access when set up Agave?
thall Posted November 29, 2016 Author Posted November 29, 2016 Did you enable portal access when set up Agave? Exactly how is that done?

As long as it says registered and online. The app should detect this and enable the option. If that is true I need to verify that you have either purchased portal access or another access level that includes portal access. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

thall Posted December 4, 2016 Author Posted December 4, 2016 Doi, I feel so stooopid! I didn't realize there were 2 modules that needed purchasing. I bought the one from UD, but not the Agave one. After purchasing the one from Agave, and restarting Agave, everything works fine. Sorry for taking up your time. Thanks
