I do not currently have an android device - do you know if this will work on an android emulator on Windows? I'd like to play around with it. Link to comment

I'd like to play around with it. sure: YOu will need to make sure that you have a google account and that you have logged into the account on the emulator. This means that you will need to make sure that you use a version of the emulator that has the google api installed.
