Just so I'm clear, When:

Garage door closed:

- Sensor shows as On.

- Garage device shows as Off.

 

Garage door opened:

- Sensor Shows as Off.

- Garage device shows as On.

    Ok one of the issues I had, the wiring of the new magnet was reversed. Now the sensor has the right status.

    However, I think I just figured out something with the door icon:

     

    - To open the door I press On. And to close it I press On again. The off button has no effect. Because of that, When door is closed and I press On, it opens the door so the garage status is On. Then I press On again to close it, so the status of the garage stays at On since I didn't press Off to close it. How do you guys handle this? I guess I would need to link the garage door status to the sensor status? Creating a scene for that?
