NodeLink 6.10 - Odd Log items!

I am running NodeLink on my Rpi3 and I saw that it did the automatic update to v 6.10 so I went in and updated the Node Server Config file ion the ISY.

 

My only device, on this ISY, is a DSC panel using the EnvisaLink4 card. 

 

After rebooting everything, I notice that the log on the Main tab seems to have odd things that I don't remember seeing before!

 

First of all, it is now showing a line for each zone "DSC: 610 - Zone Restored (Zone028) [dsc1]" followed by another line, "DSC: Zone 28 (Laundry Rm Window (Z28)) Closed [dsc1]".

 

My system only has 1 partition and 43 zones. However, the log is now also showing:

It isn't bothering anything on the ISY as far as I can tell but it seems odd...

Seems like your zone and partition counts got reset or something.  Try setting them again in the config.  Did NodeLink add extra nodes to the ISY for these?

I don't know if this is related, but I upgraded my ISY to v5.0.9 today... 

 

My config under the DSC tab shows the Number of Partitions as "1" and the Number of Zones as "43".

 

When you say "Try setting them again in the config" what do you mean? I tried pressing the "Set" button beside the Partitions and Zones and then restarted NodeLink, but this had no impact on the log entries!

 

I would like to avoid deleting the DSC device and installing it again because manually naming the 43 zones again would be a pain.

 

NodeLink did not add the extra nodes to my ISY.

Don't delete it from the ISY, there's nothing wrong on that side.  Can you PM me your config.xml and your full log?

There's nothing out of the ordinary there.  With verbose logging enabled you'll see all zones reported by the DSC.

I'm on 5.0.9 and don't see the dsc message you mention.  Do you have verbose isy logging on?  Maybe I have to turn more debugging on to see them.

Interesting... I had not noticed the "Verbose Device Logging" option under the DSC tab before!! I don't remember turning it on... but I must have at some point!! Once I disabled it the log, on the Main tab, went back to normal.
