stusviews Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 What is the result if you turn thr scene on/off from the Admin Console? What is the result if you run a scene diagnostic selecting level 3?
Techman Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 I'm just asking questions about a problem I have right now. I use a motion detector that activates a lamp switch, but the scene don't work. I programmed an email alert when the motion sensor is activated. During movement I receive an e-mail activity. In addition, the lamp switch works via mobilic manually. Unfortunately, the scene between two devices does not work. Could you help me to find what is my problem. Right click on the Scene and run the scene test then copy and post the results

Techman Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 If your right click on the name of the scene you're having trouble with you'll see DIAGNOSTICS. Under DIAGNOSTICS Click on SCENE TEST. Copy and paste the results of the scene test in a post You should add a FILTERLINC noise filter between your UPS and the poiwerline. The power supply in the UPS can interfere with the Insteon signals. It's OK to plug the ISY into the UPS but not the PLM. This is a link to the filterlinc. http://www.smarthome.com/filterlinc-10-amp-plug-in-noise-filter.html
Brian H Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I have my UPS on the filtered outlet of a FilterLinc and the PLM in the front pass through unfiltered outlet. ISY994i power supply is on the UPS AC output. UPS AC power line condition will absorb a large amount of the Insteon Power Line commands as noise. Many filtered surge strips can also be absorb power line signal .

The motion sensor send me email notification too. So I don't understand why the motion sensor is activated because I received notification...but the lampswitch don't turn on! At first sight it's seem to be lampswitch problem, but with my smartphone with the mibilinc app I can turn On with no problem.

Send Notification to 'NAME OF YOUR EMAIL' content YOUR CUSTOM MESSAGE' This assumes you properly configured your email notifications. When your motion sensor turns off your program will stop. The THEN clause will only run while all the items in your IF statement are true. If your want your program to continue to run after the motion sensor turns off then put the contents of your THEN statement into a 2nd program and have the first program run the THEN statement of the 2nd program.
