DSC - Arm No Entry - Code Required

Featured Replies

Posted

I've been unable to trigger a "Arm No Entry" event on my DSC alarm panel.  After NodeLink fires the command, my EnvisaLink web UI shows "Code Required".  Am i missing something on my end, or does the NodeLink DSC integration need to be modified to send the 'Disarm' code along with the No Entry arm command?

Also, this is an amazing plugin -- thank you for your hard work. I've tried using a Vera and a HomeSeer box to bridge my ISY and DSC alarm -- this by far is the coolest solution out there.

Apologies for not searching harder. I was looking in the NodeLink forum rather than the DSC one.

Would it be possible to make this a configurable option to send the code, or to just make it send the code if the panel prompts for the PIN input?

The guy that installed my panel refused to give me the installer code - which irritated me to no end since I purchased all of the equipment - and now charges me hundreds of dollars whenever he comes out to make changes.

I'd buy a new panel.   They are under $100 for just the main board.

Avoiding one trip would pay for it.

You could also try resetting it, but the installer may have locked that out.

io_guy -- do you have your source posted anywhere like github? i'm a dotnet core dev and wouldn't mind adding this and possibly some other integrations, such as a Bose SoundTouch integration.

I'll add it to the next version.  The code is closed due to code re-use in some of my commercial projects.
