Isy and Elk status on devices not in sync

So, I decided to play around a bit with connecting the ISY and my ELK M1Gold together.

 

I have communications, between the two, and I can control the lights from the elk keypad.

 

But the elk does not reflect the correct status.  IE..  Office light is turned off using the local switch.  The ISY shows the light is off, but the elk still shows it as on.

 

Any ideas why I might be seeing this behavior?  I would expect the two to be in sync.

 

I dont have the ISY module yet.  I am just testing to see if I cant justify the $99 for it.  But this would be a no go for me.

 

I followed all the steps in the setup, and verified everything about 5 times.
