ghaynes27 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 Yale just announced a new keyless lock that can include a zwave module. I am considering purchasing this lock but want to ensure things will work with my ISY. I am running 4.x and have about 5 existing zwave devices and about 50 insteon switches. Would I need to upgrade and run the alpha/beta of 5.x? For people that have a Yale lock what is your experience with integrating it with your ISY? http://www.yale2you.com/products/keyless/US15SlimKeyFreeTouchscreenDeadbolt.aspx
sumguy Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I have the Yale YRD120-ZW-0BP. I have had it for about 8 months and it works great with my ISY. I am running 5.0.10. I have never used it with 4.x version though. I attached a photo so you can see some of the options. I also turned off auto lock and set up a program to lock the deadbolt when my insteon door sensor reads the door is closed. I haven't had any issues with it. I highly recommend it. I would assume the model you are looking at would also work well. I use MobiLinc on my iPhone and can lock and unlock the door from it as well. Alexa also works with the lock if integrated with your ISY/Mobilinc. Let me know if you have any more questions. Jason
