TexMike Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 No luck in the noob forum, so I'll try to be more specific here. Have a house full of Honeywell 5800 series wireless sensors from previous owners ADT system. 5816 open/close, 5800PIR motion and a glass break that I haven't pulled down from ceiling. Any way to use those with ISY994iZw? Even with something in the middle? I still have the ADT controller they communicate to ADT branded Honeywell TSSC 1608AMTSSPK111251U. Thanks

Thanks The only way I know of is to use an ELK-M1 with the appropiate receiver for the Honeywell wireless devices to communicate with the ISY. I installed one 3 or 4 years ago. It works fine no issues but not a cheap solution.

TexMike Posted August 1, 2017 Author Posted August 1, 2017 Thanks for the replies, perhaps best to just replace with Z-wave sensors. I wanted to bounce it off the forum before I put all the old ADT stuff on ebay. I'm not looking for a full blown security system, just want a text when a sensor is triggered while away. I already have that working with a couple of Z-wave sensors that I bought. Still working on the "disarm" function with entry delay, but I'll get there. I did manage to get the ADT IP camera working, I spent way too much time on it, but it was fun to finally crack it.
