Goggle home working except the On command

Featured Replies

I set up the portal, home, etc. with 2 lights to start:

  spoken-> Ceiling lights

  spoken-> Back Lights

I found things like "Turn the lights on to 50%". "What lights are on", etc all work great, but none of the "Turn On" phrases work.  I can say "Turn the Ceiling Lights on", and she replies "OK, turning the ceiling lights on", but nothing happens.  Any other command works with any spoken except to turn them on.

Any ideas?

Figured it out in case anyone else has this issue.  In ISY, each device has a "local" on level that defaults to 0.  Set that to where you want and the On commands work fine.

If you've linked more than one ceiling lights to Google home, You will need to include the light name (whatever name you set) you're controlling in every google home voice command.

Let us know what error message Google Home tells you.  You may also want to try 'switch on' .
