Voice under notes in admin console

How do I start the console so I get the voice box under notes? I tried from myisy and from the icon on my desktop and don't see that option under notes.

 

What am I doing wrong?

 

Obviously this is needed so alexa knows what your device is.

I don't think that helps me. I am using mobilinc and not the portal. I am talking about the voice section that is missing in note as below. I have been able to access in the past.

Oh, sorry didn't realize you were asking for mobilinc. If mobilinc uses the spoken, you need to upgrade your firmware and UI to the latest 4.x version to see that.

I don't think its a mobilinc issue. Here are their instructions.

 

1. Use the ISY's Admin Console and right-click on your device or scene and select "Notes".
2. Under the "Spoken" field enter in simple English to describe your device/scene. For example: "Upstairs Office".

 

My problem is with the ISY console.  I have done it in the past but cant access now. I am talking about right clicking a device then go to the note and access the spoken field. This has nothing to do with Mobilinc, its the console that is not showing the field.

I see it using 5.1.0

Check Help->About menu to see the UI version, recent 4.x has it, as well as 5 like Gary mentioned.

The images you posted are a carry-over from earlier versions. They have no purpose other than notations. The "spoken" field has no other purpose. It's not used for anything.

It's used by MobiLinc. That's its whole purpose for being.

How do I upgrade the UI? I did google but could not find a solution.

Remember, you have to update the Admin Console when you update the ISY.

MobiLinc has had voice control long before the Echo was a product.

My understanding is you put in the spoken word you want to use for that device and then when you say the word MobiLinc knows which device you want.
