tjkintz Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I found out the hard way that there is inconsistency in the way disabled devices are handled. This relates to 6 2477SA1 240V load controllers but I doubt that is relevant. I currently have those devices disabled. However I tested a program to turn them on under certain conditions and without me realizing it, it actually turned them on. I have a fail-safe program to turn them off that relies on the status of the devices but no status is returned because they are disabled. Hence the fail-safe program failed to turn them off and the heating cables controlled by the devices ran for two days until I discovered it. Also the default ISY program that runs every day to test the status of every device does not show them on, probably for the same reason. Also I could not turn them off with Admin Console until I enabled them. So, disabled devices respond to some programmatic commands like On and maybe Off but not others like Status. Is this known behavior? Is it correct behavior? It seem like a bug to me.
