kurelgyer Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Can the ISY be used to configure the settings of the Aeon Doorbell? Specifically, can the ISY command the doorbell to play a specific ringtone? 100 mp3's can be loaded to the doorbell. I would like to use this device as an annunciator. For example, when a door is opened it would respond "Front door opened" or "garage door opening", etc. Is this possible? Is there a better way to get voice announcements?
G W Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I'd be happy if iSY called it a doorbell instead of a siren. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk
kurelgyer Posted November 12, 2017 Author Posted November 12, 2017 I assume you have one then? Will it work as I described?
G W Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 I don't think it can, at this time. Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Tapatalk

The only options available from the Administrative Console are On and Off (and Query). Everything else must be manually accomplished by pushing buttons on the doorbell itself.
saninberg Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 If you have ZW056-A model doorbell. Using version 5.0.10 You can use programs to set configuration ( parameter # and parameter value ) Parameter #6 select channel to play Parameter #7 ( Play = value 1 ) ( Stop = value 2 ) Parameter #2 is number of times to repeat sound. simple example: If $sound is 1 then set 'voice alarm' Set configuration parameter 6 = 1 ( channel # 1 select ) wait 2 secs set 'voice alarm' Set configuration parameter 7 = 1 ( Play ) Parameter #2 is set at 5 so the alarm will repeat 5 times then stop
KSchex Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Thanks for the note on Parameter Support in 5.0.10. Anxiously awaiting official release for GEN 5 support.
