Relay

I'd been looking for awhile for a simple, straightforward relay that I could just plug in and not have to build something.

I don't know why this hasn't come up on my searches on Amazon before, but this guy fits the bill perfectly.  Just plug it into an on/off module and I'm good to go!

Great!

This led me to another one that could be used for HVAC sensing into an IOLinc.

Dual 24vac/dc to dual dry contacts.

Yeah, I've been thinking about doing that.  I don't use Insteon thermostats on my units, I really don't trust them enough.  I would probably just use an open/close sensor though.

Seems like there should be a forum topic or section just for stuff like this.  Running across something that others may find useful.  It took me a long time to find the pressure sensitive mat, waterproof, with dry contact only, and inexpensive.  That's why I posted it here a couple of days ago.

A new thread is a good idea and there is a thread for forum suggestions too. Do it! :)

I created a document several years ago with Various Insteon solutions I found. I haven't touched it in a long time, but was planning on adding the two items above. I seem to have missed your post about the pressure sensitive mat you found.
