I continue to watch these guys https://www.initialstate.com/

It would be great to see correlation of ISY events, GEM power usage etc, what is great is they are free for 24 hours of data, 25k events a month.

Maybe i am delusional - i haven't acually done the calculation of how many events my ISY and gem generate, obvioulsy if it is more than 25k a mo that idea of mine is bogus...

I contine to look for something that can replace SEG... i know initial state can  ingest data in lots of ways:

Next up for me is to relook at emoncms now the uploads are working again for me :-)

--edit i just did the math and realized i am a dumbass, 25k events is nothing-- oh well

I’ve been ingesting my firewall (pfSense), Brultech GEM (32 power channels, 4 1-wire temp probes), 6 CAO tags, Weatherflow AIR, 3 ISYs (one hooked to my ComEd power meter) into an ELK instance running on a Protecli device I had retired from pfSense duty. Currently running at 8.2 million messages per month... and it’s entirely local...

sounds cool, i am looking for a solution that doesn't require scripting or massive amounts of command line, drag and drop designer and controls for graphing etc.  This is why i have stuck with SEG despite the insane cost.
