Have ISY994i/IR PRO, need to control Z-Wave devices - doable with more hardware?

I have a ISY994i/IR PRO laying around (unused) from some random purchasing in 2016. It seemed liked a great device, but I ended up going with Smart Things for one of my installs due to specific hardware and integrations. Unfortunately Smart Things is a bit too dependent on the cloud for my taste. I know my ISY does not yet speak Z-Wave. Is there a specific official Z-Wave radio I can buy? Perhaps I can use my Smart Thing hub?

Thanks!

There is a Z-Wave module available for the ISY994i @ Orchestrated Home.

Noted. From what I can tell this is purely Z-Wave (meaning it does not have a Zigbee radio). I've also learned that ISY's Zigbee solution only supports energy monitoring commands so there's no way to have a "dual radio" system... however, while searching I found lots of people talking about "secondary controllers" and such so I'm still curious:

Is it possible, if I want to, to use my Smart Things hub as a local radio device to control all my Z-Wave and Zigbee items? My goal is to move from ST over to ISY so that I can remove the cloud entirely (thus using some sort of ISYcloud <-> SmartThingscloud integration would not be acceptable). Doable? Maybe doable if I give up on the Zigbee part (which saves me having to buy another $50 hardware radio when I already have a $100 one from ST!!).

Thanks again!

The ISY natively supports Insteon and X10. You can add support for Z-Wave or Zigbee, but not both. It's one or the other. If you do decide that you need both Zigbee and Z-Wave, then you'll have to add another controller/manager, keeping in mind that it's best to not have the same specific device(s) being controlled by more than one manager.
