KPL Status Light Question

Quick question. Want to see if there is an easier way to do what I am doing.

I have a KPL8 and I want it to do a simple on/off of a SLR, but I also want the KPL Status light to be the same as the SLR.

I thought I could setup a scene with the KPL button as both a controller and responder and the SLR as a responder, but when I try to add the KPL button again, it says it is already part of the scene.

So I have a program now this is just (not sure how everyone is copy/pasting their programs into the forum):

If kitchen light is on

then set scene kitchen light KPL on

else set scene kitchen light KPL off

the 'kitchen light KPL' scene just has the KPL in it.

Am I doing this the best way or is their an easier way?

Thanks,

Mike

Sounds like you want them cross-linked, correct? Both switches will control eachother? If so, add them both to a scene as 'Controllers'.

A controller is inherently a responder.

I knew there was an easier way to do that. I never would have guessed to add them both as controllers. Thanks!
