Honeywell TCC: SecureChannelFailure

Featured Replies

For the last few days have been getting the following repeatedly, with (obviously) no data updating:

2018-02-19 07:36:45 - TCC Login Error: Error: SecureChannelFailure (The authentication or decryption has failed.) [hwstat1]
2018-02-19 07:36:45 - TCC Get Error: Error: SecureChannelFailure (The authentication or decryption has failed.) [hwstat1]

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have the same issue as well. I was on a previous version, then updated to 0.9.6, updated ISY with the zip file, and still seeing this every 5 mins:

2018-02-19 16:45:48 - TCC Login Error: request started [hwstat1]
2018-02-19 16:45:48 - TCC Get Error: Error: SecureChannelFailure (The authentication or decryption has failed.) [hwstat1]

Haven't changed the code to TCC.

If one of you want to add  [removed] to your stat I'll login and see if I can get it resolved.

Just granted you access to mine. Please let me know if you need me to do anything additional from my side.

What OS & mono version are you guys using?  I can't reproduce this.  I can login fine with Windows and Raspbian/Mono 5.8.0.108

I'm guessing your Pi OS / Mono are old and Honeywell updated their website to require a higher level TLS.

You nailed it...upgraded Mono and all is well again.  Thanks for your help!

Glad it worked.  In my next release I'm going to fire a startup log warning, making fun of people with old mono versions.

I was on Mono 4.6.2 and updated to 5.8.0.108, and I'm further along the road, but still not there. Now I'm getting various debug messages about cookies and javascript, and it ends the login process with saying I'm using an unsupported browser.

Fun stuff. I just spun up this rPi a few months ago, and I'm already way outdated! Maybe I'll just blow it away and re-do it to avoid going down a potential rabbit hole of issues.

Quick update, I started over with my rPI, and all is good again. I suspect I mucked something up with the mono update....thanks for the help guys!!!

BTW, I noticed in my logs that midnight on 2/13 is when the TCC login stopped working.
