ISY Portal, AV devices and state variables

First of all, I'd like to see ISY portal reskinned. Those control and font sizes don't make it easy to use (besides of looking very unprofessional). It works great by most part but style doesn't keep up. I'm assuming it's written in jQuery UI. I don't know if anybody ever used it for anything beyond dev POCs. You could easily do it in something like LumX.

 

One pretty glaring issue I have is AV devices map network resources by ID rather than name. What that means is that if you export a bunch of them and IDs change, it will change every command with ID higher than changed one. Maybe it's not a normal use case but it's super annoying.

 

Finally, I've seen this request before but I'd like to re-iterate - state variables need to support string values. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to change channels by name, like "change channel to HBO". There's no way to do it right now. But would be fairly easy with string state variables.
