Venstar: T7900 being replaced ?

I've got a number of T5900 Venstars that I use with Nodelink (and it works great).

Considering putting in the newer T7900 units (hopefully all I need to do is give them the same ip address as my T5900s and they will rock on along without other config changes as far as Nodelink is concerned?).

These T7900s have been out a while now - is there another model replacing this one soon, or is there a better 'stat out there that has local API / integration w/ ISY?

The T7900 has dropped in price substantially, hence the replacement consideration.
