Carl R Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Just swap my router out to the new Google Wi-Fi mesh system, have 50 devices that upgraded including Google home, Google many, Amazon echoes, nest cameras, but cannot get ISY994i to show up. Switched back to my old router and it showed up just fine. Getting ready to go through process of switching back again and doing firmware update, but wondering if anyone else has used Google Wi-Fi and had issues? Quote
asbril Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 (edited) I have had the Google Wifi router almost since it came out, without problems with my ISY. Two comments : 1. Google provides excellent support for the GWF. There is a phone link on https://store.google.com/us/product/google_wifi_support?hl=en-US (Click on 'Help' on bottom of page). 2. The secondary 'pucks' of GW can be very useful when adding a Zwave device that may be too far from the ISY. several times I have connected my ISY to one of the GWF 'pucks' close to the new device. Once the device 'included', I move the ISY back to its regular place and perform a Heal. Edited July 21, 2018 by asbril Quote

Hi Carl, and welcome to the UDI Forums- This is a common problem with the ISY, its a function of how you initially configured the ISY's networking on your last router. Since you still have your old router, here's what to: Turn on your old router and plug the ISY in Use the Admin Console to get access Check the the DHCP box, leave the UPnP un-checked Click Save Unplug the ISY's power Plug the ISY into the new router's network Plug the ISY's power back in The ISY will be at a different IP address, but the ISY Finder/Launcher will work that out Paul Edited July 21, 2018 by paulbates Quote
