Admin Console Access through MobiLinc Connect

Hi folks, 

We recently made a few changes to make using the Admin Console easier to connect with your ISY through MobiLinc Connect:

1. Find your ISY's UUID via the Admin Console under Help->About. Example: 12:34:56:78:90:12.
2. Close the Admin Console and open the ISY Launcher or ISY Finder.
3. Click "Add."
4. Enter:

https://{ISY's UUID without colons}.admin.mobilinc.io/isy/{ISY's UUID with colons}/desc

 For example, if your ISY's UUID is: 12:34:56:78:90:12, enter in the following: https://123456789012.admin.mobilinc.io/isy/12:34:56:78:90:12/desc

5. Click Ok.
6. After a few seconds, you should see the "Type" and "Version" fields of the ISY Launcher get populated with your ISY's type and firmware version.
7. Double-click the new entry to launch the Admin Console.
8. Log in with your MobiLinc Connect email address as the username and your MobiLinc Connect password as the password.

If you are unable to connect, please verify the following:
1. Open the MobiLinc app and go to Settings->Lighting Controller->Status to verify your subscription. If your subscription is expired, you can renew at the top of this page: https://mobilinc.com/features/mobilincconnect/
2. If you can't connect via the MobiLinc app, or you renewed your subscription, reboot your network equipment first, wait 5 minutes, then reboot your ISY. Wait 5 minutes and try connecting with MobiLinc and the Admin Console again.

I have two homes. Presently, only one has an ISY, which I use for leak detection and lights. I operate the devices through MobiLinc Connect and the MobiLinc app on my iPhone. I want to add a new ISY to my second home for similar devices and, again use MobiLinc Connect to operate those devices using my cell phone. Can I access the Admin Console for the new ISY from two pc’s (one pc on-site at the new home and the other pc remotely from my pc at the old house) using the steps you outlined on both pc’s?

Yes! The UUID in the address above routes to your ISY's location. You can add as many ISYs as you own to the ISY Launcher to access via MobiLinc Connect. 

FYI: In order to use the Admin Console through MobiLinc Connect the ISY must have an active and paid subscription. If you have any questions about adding a second ISY, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@mobilinc.com

Send me the address you are entering into the ISY Launcher to: support@mobilinc.com so I can verify that the path looks correct and that your ISY is connected and responding to MobiLinc Connect.
