Inovelli switches wiring issue

Featured Replies

Posted

I purchased a couple of Inovelli dimmer switches and went to install them in a 3way setup today. I run into a wiring situation  i have not seen prior to today(just bought the house a year ago). Below are pictures of the two boxes with original switches, anyone know what I am dealing with.

I am not sure that Inoveli dimming switches are capable of 3-way.

Did you get this sorted out?

Yes it was user stupidity... It is a regular 3 way wiring, but the live wire is routed from one switch box to the other box making the wiring appear wrong. It was posted in another thread.

I have three of the Inovelli switches now and they work great for me.

What version of ISY are you using ?

Not sure what you mean but I am using an ISY994 with original ZWave module & Network module. I run a mixed environment of ZWave, Insteon, Hue lights and Google voice control Also have a couple of Echos but prefer the overall experience of Google.
