someguy Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 At 3 am, while we are asleep, my wife wakes and looks at me and says "What are the lights doing on?" I reach over to my bedside insteon switch and turn them off. When I look in my ISY Program Summary, the only thing that ran at 3am was the QueryAll program. Why would the QueryAll program turn on my lights? Is this a bug? (It is stuff like this that could end home automation at my house) Someguy Link to comment
Michel Kohanim Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 Hello someguy, The first thing I would do is to go to the Program Details tab, Right mouse click on My Programs, Click on Find/Replace and type in the name your bedroom lamp to see if there any other programs that act up on it. I would do the same for all the scenes that those specific lights belongs to. If you do not have ANY programs that act upon those lights, then I would suspect a faulty device. I used to have a SocketLinc that turned on/off by itself in the presence of increased network activity. someguy Posted May 15, 2009 Author Share Posted May 15, 2009 okay, I figred it out. Somehow my "vacation" folder got turned on and it was running a random event of turning lights on and off to simulate occupancy. can we delete this thread? just kidding. Someguy Link to comment
