Use scenarios for multiple ISY's in one location (or multiple locations?)

Curious about how / why people are doing this, and what possibilities might exist.

Also, multiple ISY's communicating / interacting at different locations (comm across internet -vs- LAN)?

Any comments or direction to a thread or link would be apprciated!
