Brighten/Dim no longer work on Alexa

Featured Replies

Posted

Up until a couple of months ago I was able to say something like "Alexa, brighten the bedroom" or "Dim the living room."  Bedroom and living room are spokens that reference scenes in my ISY.  It used to brighten or dim the scene three levels.  Now I get the response "Bedroom doesn't support that."

Did we lose this feature in an update somewhere?

Thanks!

It's his future going to be returned in the future? It certainly handy functionality to have and very rarely functionality taken away from smart home systems. It's more normal they have functionality added.

If you have scenes that you want to brighten/dim, set the Alexa category to light.
