MobiLinc X for iOS/Android AVAILABLE NOW!

Has anyone tried to get Mobilinc Pro from Google Play lately?  I just got a new phone and can't seem to find it.  Searches only produced Mobilinc X.

Hi @BobMic

Google did a surprise move and pulled Pro and Lite from the App Store this week. There’s code in Pro/Lite that uses an older HTTP transport they want changed. Unfortunately, these changes are costly and we’d rather move forward with developing a direct IP solution with MobiLinc X instead of patching the old Pro apps at $$$ cost. If you’ve purchased MobiLinc Pro/Android previously and would like the non-play store version, send me your Google Play email purchase receipt to support@mobilinc.com

Hi Wes,

Of course it was this week!   I should have got the new phone last week...who knew.

I sent an email,

Received your email and responded with the APK and license key.

Is Mobilinc Pro still available? I have my play receipt and everything. Does a non-play store version need a rooted phone?

I am interested in your new project, but it is rough to not have my trusty ML Pro while I evaluate.

@smithlevenson

Please email me your receipt to support@mobilinc.com.

You only need to allow non-play store apps to be installed on your phone.

Are the cameras only viewable on local network? Or can it somehow be configured to work outside. I'd like to avoid simply opening firewall to the camera IPs but not sure if it could be done any other way.

Hi @firstone

For remote camera access you'll need to port-forward your cameras through your router/firewall. There is no other way for remote camera access.
