Upgrading from 4.7.3 to which 5.X?

Hi,

 

I would like to use the Insteon siren & it looks like I need to upgrade from 4.7.3 to a 5+ version - which is the most 'stable' 5.0 which would allow easy upgrades to future 5.x versions?

You should go with the latest beta release which is 5.0.15A

Be sure to do an ISY backup before the upgrade. After the update any programs which you had previously disabled with be enabled and will need to be manually disabled again.

Read the release notes before you update.

    Can you downgrade back to 4.7.3 if 5.0.15a doesnt work properly?

    Yes, just make sure you have a good back up of 4.7.3
