Does anyone know if the Ring NS will work with the Ring Smart Lighting Bridge.  Or better yet does anyone know how to add Ring Smart Lighting to the NS or to ISY in another way.  I read somewhere that they are zwave devices and that is what the hub is for.  I tried adding them as a zwave in ISY AC but no joy.  The smart Lighting I am speaking of are all battery powered, Steplight, Pathlight, Spotlight and Floodlight Battery.  https://shop.ring.com/pages/smart-lighting

It would be great if I could incorporate MS from them into programs and set lighting and notification scenarios.

Thanks

Tom

I don’t have any of the devices that use the bridge, but recently worked with Benoit to add lighting support to the Ring nodeserver for the native Ring devices that have lights (the Floodlight and Spotlight cams).

If you have the devices, why don’t you give it a go?

I installed the Ring Smart Lighting Bridge and a few of their Smart Lightining products, they work within the Ring app, but I do not see anything listed in the Ring NS for any of these Items.

@bmercier what is the possibility of having the Smart Lighting added to the NS  or is it planned already?

@TomL - you would need to start by posting the log from the nodeserver so it can be seen how the devices differ (during setup).

Further - when motion events are detected there will also be log activity. Those events would be needed as well.

I cannot speak to @bmercier's time commitments though...
