I have two thermostats hooked to my Insteon - ISY994i system. Yesterday the compressor on one of the units stopped working. This morning both thermostats seem to have no power. Blank screens and cannot communicate and will not run. Everything else seems to be working fine on the system. Do you think this is an HVAC service problem or  is this a programing problem? I wanted to get a better grasp before the service repairman shows up.

The tstats are usually supplied 24v from the control board.  If you have power turned off or control board is bad you won't have display.

It does not sound like a programming issue.

I second TomL's information. If the HVAC has issues. The thermostats probably don't have any power.
