I have an ISY 994i with Z-Wave.  I am looking for a way to remotely control a Z-Wave Plus deadbolt lock by a keypad button.  The button should 1) illuminate when the deadbolt is unlocked manually at the door and 2) the button should lock or unlock the deadbolt and illuminate when unlocked.

 

I have successfully programmed the keypad light to display the status of the deadbolt when the deadbolt is manually locked or unlocked.  My attempt to program the button to lock or unlock the deadbolt has resulted in the deadbolt immediately locks when the button unlocks the deadbolt.

 

FrontDoorBolt - The Z-Wave deadbolt device (the only Z-Wave device)

KitchenKey2G FrontDoorLock – The keypad button associated with the deadbolt. 

FrontDoorLockGrp – The scene includes the FrontDoorBolt device (Controller) and Kitchen2G FrontDoorLock (Responder).

 

Programs:

FrontDoorLock

If ‘FrontDoorBolt’ Status is Locked

Then Set ‘FrontDoorLockGrp’ Off

Else

 

FrontDoorUnlock

If ‘FrontDoorBolt’ Status is Unlocked

Then Set ‘FrontDoorLockGrp’ On

Else
