Mustang65 Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 (edited) I guess, since I was unable to locate the answer that I was looking for by searching, is the PolISY going to have a xBee transmitter/receiver capabilities to communicate with the GEM or is there is that going to fall under Polyglot somehow? Just curious as to if I will have to keep my ISY994 up and running once the complete Polisy is up and running? Edited October 5, 2019 by Mustang65 Quote
io_guy Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 Can't answer that question, but you could always install NodeLink and EmonCMS on the Polisy instead of using a Dashbox. 1 Quote
Mustang65 Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 True and I probably will attempt something like that. Just noticed that there is a SparkFun UsB-XBee dongle. Maybe something like that could be included as an option for the Polisy. Just a thought Quote

Do you have any instructions for installing NodeLink and EmonCMS on the the Polisy box? I am in the process of building out 3 GEMs on 5 panels and want to get that data in to my ISY. Your graph looks like Grafana, are there instructions for getting data from the GEMs to Influx/Grafana? Quote
io_guy Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 Nope, I've given up with NodeLink on polisy, too much of a pain with the base polisy OS installation. My graphs are from EmonCMS, I have it installed on a Pi4 with NodeLink. Quote
