gaetanlord Posted January 14, 2020 Share Posted January 14, 2020 Hi My ISY is accessed via Home Assistant to only control devices. All was working fine for many months until this morning. I initially thought I had an issue with Home assistant, so I fire up the administrative console, but no luck. ISY cannot talk to any of my devices. I reset the PLM and reprogram it, still the same issue. My PLM is only 1.5 years old, was already replaced twice in the last 7 years. I thought by having a 2.4 version would free me of those problem, for at least 3-4 years, but seem not. Before going forward, I would like to be sure I have a bad PLM, I include below a log output. When I check for the PLM from Tools -> diagnostics -> PLM status, I only get connected. The "reprogram" seem to have working fine. Nothing change on the electrical side. At this point I'm clueless on what I should do next to confirm a bad PLM, which do have a green led "on". Any advise Regards 5603 L1 / L1_portique_banquette Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:08: 5604 L1 / L1_portique_banquette Mon 2020/01/13 23:08:37 System -2 5605 L1 / L1_Portique_plafond Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:08: 5606 L1 / L1_Portique_plafond Mon 2020/01/13 23:08:59 System -2 5607 Exterieur / L1_Veranda Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:09:21 S 5608 Exterieur / L1_Veranda Mon 2020/01/13 23:09:21 System -2 5609 L1 / L1_SDB Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:09:43 System Log 5610 L1 / L1_SDB Mon 2020/01/13 23:09:43 System -2 5611 L2 / L2_3way_esc_haut Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:10:27 S 5612 L2 / L2_3way_esc_haut Mon 2020/01/13 23:10:27 System -2 5613 L2 / L2_maitre_multi.1 Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:10:49 S 5614 L2 / L2_maitre_multi.1 Mon 2020/01/13 23:10:49 System -2 5615 L2 / L2_maitre_douche Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:11:11 S 5616 L2 / L2_maitre_douche Mon 2020/01/13 23:11:11 System -2 5617 Thermostat / L1_Thermostat- Main Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/1 5618 Thermostat / L1_Thermostat- Main Mon 2020/01/13 23:11:33 System -2 5619 L1 / L1_foyer Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:11:55 System L 5620 L1 / L1_foyer Mon 2020/01/13 23:11:55 System -2 5621 L1 / L1_3way_esc_bas Error 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 Mon 2020/01/13 23:12:17 S 5622 L1 / L1_3way_esc_bas Mon 2020/01/13 23:12:17 System -2 5623 Get NodeDef ZWave 0 Mon 2020/01/13 23:13:38 System Log Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Michel Kohanim Posted January 14, 2020 Share Posted January 14, 2020 @gaetanlord, If the PLM light is lit, the first thing would be to move the PLM to a different outlet and one which is not shared with other transformers and power supplies. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Brian H Posted January 14, 2020 Share Posted January 14, 2020 The revision 2.4 PLM. Has the updated Serial Port Daughter Card with better serial signal protection and C7 and C13 are now a capacitor designed for switching power supplies. You may want to try it in a different location, look for a newly added electronic device maybe causing electrical noise or absorbing the power line signals. gaetanlord Posted January 14, 2020 Author Share Posted January 14, 2020 Well, I was about to move my ISY/PLM to another location but test once again. All is back to normal. I change nothing, I wonder if a good night was the answer. All I could say is for 6 hours it didn't work last night and nothing really change. I did try resetting the PLM and reprogramming it as a fix maybe that was the answer, but i swear, that it didn't work after that. Sorry for this inconvenience. As usual, thanks for the quick feedback. A good reason to use ISY Regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
