Plugged in, no lights, but operational

I've had my ISY994i for about 3 months now. Today, I see that none of the indicator lights are on. I power cycled it and the TX and RX lights blink at a high rate, but power light never turns on. I just checked and I can access the console from my computer and I can control my lights in the house.

Should I get it exchanged? Is this signs of failure?

The Power LED is turned On when ever the power is connected to the ISY994i. If it functions correctly except the power LED is not lighting. It may have a hardware problem in the power on LED circuit.

You may want to open a trouble ticket to see what UDI thinks. http://www.universal-devices.com/contact-us

You may also consider another method to identify root cause and narrow down the problem by simply replacing the power supply. There was a period of time where the supplied PSU was not very top shelf.

The 994 Series Controller can accept a voltage from 5~30 VDC (Center Positive). I would encourage you to not exceed 12 VDC though as you may very well let the magic smoke out.

Swap it out and give it a whirl and report back success vs failure . . .
