kewashi
I only have 2 Insteon switches and both stopped working. I tried to remove and re-add them but keep getting this error: The switches work manually. This all happened after I had to power cycle my ISY hub. All the node servers and ZWave devices came back fine but these two didn't. Any pointers?
lilyoyo1
Factory reset them and try again
kewashi
Something really weird is going on. I factory reset both switches several times and got same error. I also reset PLM and it didn't help. Then I unplugged the PLM and even with it unplugged my ISY shows the PLM as connected, which it isn't. I think the PLM might be dead ... but the damn thing is nearly brand new. Michel Kohanim
@kewashi, The first rule of INSTEON comm error is: move the PLM to a different outlet and one which is not shared with other transformers and power supplies. With kind regards, Michel
kewashi
Okay - I reset PLM a second time and then re-added them and now it is working.

Yea - this all started when I added a monitor to the same outlet... I now moved it and reset the PLM and it seems back to normal.
