sys.node.address.ST not working on 4.7.5

I use this command to do status on 2852.222 in program a few years ago.  I went to replace a leak sensors now with v 4.7.5 and I can not make the status command work.   I must be doing something wrong.  I only see to sys.node commands  address and name.   When I change it to ST it only shows the address not the status..  sys.node aa aa aa 1.ST   I put the command just like the one that works for old sensors.
