Probably hacked

Hello all,

I noticed that recently instead of receive emails from my own email server I start to receive it from "alerts@universal-devices.com" instead.

So I decided to check the email configuration and I could not connect to my ISY, it states Failed, Retry Authenticating ISY.

Is that possible for someone to get into my ISY if the Internet Access option is disabled?

Last time I accessed it was last week.

Thanks

Hey Techman,

Thanks for reply, when I saw your message about the ISY reverting back the email I thought it maybe also reverted back the user and password and it was exactly this. For some reason on a recent power outage my ISY reset everything except the configuration. I mean, user and password, also the email notification account parameters and even the clock returned to its factory default.

I don't remember if ISY has an internal battery. If this thing happen again I'll need to open it and find out.

Cheers

The ISY does not have an internal battery.  The ISY uses an SD card as it's non-volatile memory or "hard disk".   If you experienced failure during a power outage it may be indicative that it's time to replace the SD card (although I don't think SD cards normally fail with that symptom, but it's possible.)
