mbski Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 I have a brand new outletlinc, and it stops communicating every couple of hours and no led at outlet. If I cycle breaker to remove power it works again for a couple of hours or so then stops again its been happening for 5 days since I installed it. I used to have an x-10 oulet in its place and never had any issues, just trying to go all insteon. any advice??? thanx Mike Bell
Brian H Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 It maybe defective or some noise is confusing the electronics in it. The power cycle resets it. What type of load is on it? Reason I mentioned load. Is my older ApplianceLinc V2 modules. Where touchy with one load I was trying to control. A call to Smarthome Technical Support maybe needed.

The problem was indeed a bad brand new outlet linc. got a new one and all ok thanx mike bell
