william.hullsiek Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Is there a procedure for opening the front tab after the screws are removed? I am trying to replace the Zwave controller with the series 500 module and perplexed on how to open the case without breaking the cheap plastic.
william.hullsiek Posted November 21, 2020 Author Posted November 21, 2020 Okay stupid question - someone at the factory covered a screw with the label.
Teken Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Once the four bottom screws have been removed. If your unit has an external antenna remove it along with the retaining nut & washer. Then remove the bottom plastic cover. From the rear where the ports are gently pull the (rear) case while lifting up the entire board.Doing so will allow the entire PCB to come out. If you try to remove it from the LED (front of case) you’ll probably break something doing so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On my later purchased ISY994i. One of the case mounting screws is under the ISY994i label with is Bar Coded part number. The earlier one I have there was no label over one of the case mounting screws. So it is very possible. You have a label covering one of the case mounting screws. Edited November 21, 2020 by Brian H
