MTellevik Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 I have installed a Insteon garage door controller and status kit on my garage door, It has a sensor to indicate weather the door is open or shut. I have installed a and a 6 button keypad link (2487S) in my entryway. I created a scene called "Garage Door Status" and added the sensor and the Keypad Link button "B" to it as controllers. The "B" button LED comes on when the door is open. (Sensor On) I would like the "A" button to come on when the door is closed (Sensor Off) AND if possible set the buttons (Either "A" or "B") to give a momentary pulse to the garage door opener to control the door. Ideally i would like to a button to only work when the door is closed and the "B" button to only work when the door is open.
MrBill Posted June 10, 2021 Posted June 10, 2021 Have you followed the instructions in this wiki page: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Garage_Door_Kit As far as inverting it for the A button, you can add that button to the same scene and program it with the opposite logic in the scene. 1 1
