kcrossley Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Is there anyway to program a delay? For example, when a guest approaches our home between the hours of 7:30 PM and 4:30 AM (nighttime) and triggers an IR-3000 connected to an EZSrSRF, I want several exterior Insteon enabled exterior lights to come on for a set period of time, say 3-5 minutes. How do I program that? Thanks, Kelly
Sub-Routine Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 Hello Kelly, There is a Wait command in the Action menu. Rand
kcrossley Posted December 25, 2009 Author Posted December 25, 2009 I didn't see that. Thanks! Another problem. I can't get the IR-3000, which is linked to the EZSnSRF to report its status. It worked fine in a Scene, but it won't work in a program. I've setup the program as follows: If Status "Wireless Receiver" (EZSnSRF) is ON Then Set "Living Room Lamp" Fast On Send Notification to All Wait 1 minute Set "Living Room Lamp" Off Else No Actions What am I doing wrong?

Not sure about the EZSnSRF (IR-3000) but with the Smarthome Insteon Motion Sensors I have been using "Control" rather then "Status" in my programs. It is because you can not query a MS and so Status doesn't return anything. Tome
kcrossley Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, Control didn't work. It's weird that it works in a scene, but not in a program.
kcrossley Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 I can't make this work. I guess I'll have to resort to using Scenes.
