January 24, 20223 yr The PG2 update option should also update PG3. I haven't tried this, but will with the next release. You will have to restart PG3 after it has been updated.
January 25, 20223 yr Hmm, updating PG2 did not upgrade PG3. My frontend is now 3.0.038 but the PG version is still 3.0.36. How do I upgrade PG3? And my PG2 versions are mismatched. Version is 2.2.13 but frontend is 2.2.9-5. Is this normal? Thanks, Jeff Edited January 25, 20223 yr by bambamf16
January 25, 20223 yr Don't know about PG2, I would think the versions should match also. For PG3, you need to restart it. Updating installs the new version (which when the browser reloads the page, gets the new frontend files) But the backend continues to run the old version until it is restarted. Once restarted, it should be running the new version.
January 25, 20223 yr Unfortunaley, I had already restarted PG3. No luck. Second restart just now also did not work. Thoughts? Jeff
January 25, 20223 yr You have to restart using ssh, the menu item "Restart Polyglot 3" doesn't work yet. The ssh command is sudo service pg3 restart
January 25, 20223 yr I just clicked on "Purchases" in PG3 and on "Renew" of the 2 nodeservers that I purchased. In both cases the payment went through at Paypal but I got error messages in PG3 which also closed in my browser. I am not sure that PG3 actually registered that the Paypal transactions went through as they still show "Renew"
January 25, 20223 yr I'm assuming those had trial licenses and that you were trying to convert them to perpetual licenses? Did you try refreshing the list after? Does it still say they are trial in the "order id" column?

Does it still say they are trial in the "order id" column? As usual, you make sense. However it is slightly different. I had indeed installed the trial version of Harmony Hub and NOAA. When I clicked on Purchases it did not tell me that I was paying for trial versions and just let me pay...... and payments went through. Different for Notifications nodeserver which I just installed 30 mins ago and right away, from the Store, it asked me to pay. That nodeserver now shows as paid. In the store, the other 2 nodeservers still show as uninstalled even though the trial versions are installed and working. If I click on Install then it asks me to pay (again). I opened a ticket at UDI. I am not really worried about the payments, but more that there seems to be a bug somewhere. Edited January 25, 20223 yr by asbril
January 25, 20223 yr I renewed two today (Kasa and NOAA) and received an authentication error afterwards. I did receive the receipts from UDI on both and they both work but they are still showing the Renew button under Purchases. Edited January 25, 20223 yr by DaveStLou

This appears to happen when paying for trial versions. I already opened a ticket with UDI and attached copies of Paypal payments. Somehow the system should not let us pay for trial versions.
