Program Restrictions 'Rain Delay Remaining'... missing/removed?

Recommended Posts

I haven't figured this one out in the GitHub code, as things seem to be defined as expected.

I went into the Admin Console to edit an older program (from before Winter Mode); to change the minimal expected delay, and found the restrictions node programming info doesn't exist anymore.   I did go into polyglot and completely remove and uninstall, reboot, and re-install and add the RainMachine Node, to make sure this missing node wasn't some artifact of upgrading from prior versions.  I also restarted the Admin Console after each step above.

The Main Admin Console tab does show the restrictions options/settings, and allows setting the rain delay to a number of days.  Thus the logic is there, and the node is there.  But on the Program Tab, the ability to program based on the status of the rain delay time remaining appears to have been removed (maybe intentionally - as RM Android App calls this Snooze now, and restrictions are treated differently).

Related: The ability to respond conditionally to a Control event of Restrictions is there, provided Rain Delay is the desired controlling action.  I guess I could reprogram to detect lack of such event, as currently Sunday Night sets the delay and enables the CheckForDelay for Monday morning. It verifies that the delay is still in place incase something caused the RainMachine unit to drop the delay; as one time the sprinklers turned on while the gardener was mowing.

If this change was all per plan... then no issue.   If not, then I'm not sure where/when/how it changed; but it is certainly subtle and something to investigate; if that thing called "some free time" ever happens.

Thanks again for a nice tool.
