Hello All,
  
 I think not until i had a BASpi from Contemporary Controls https://www.ccontrols.com/basautomation/ on my desk and witnessed the reaction of outputs and Inputs did i start to GET any of this. 
You all should look into these controllers especially installers, Integrators.

 With the BAS product i have put up you can have control of your Nodes or end Devices and they can be brought up on a commercial BacNet protocol system. Plus these controllers come with their own Programming tools suite called Sedona, based on Tridium (a visual programming tool). So anyone can do some complex routines i have just started to write.
Also i am developing active touch screens at the controllers for local override.
