bw23198 Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 My portal integration has been down for a couple of days. I upgraded my router firmware about the time that I lost the portal integration. Coincidence? I've not had any Internet issues (that I'm aware of) since the router upgrade and my ISY seems to be working fine otherwise. I just can't ask Alexa to control my lights and I actually have to walk to the switches to control them like it's 1999. ? Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can start troubleshooting? -Brian

bw23198 Posted April 9, 2022 Author Posted April 9, 2022 Thanks. I own a PC so naturally rebooting the ISY was the first thing I tried. I also tried viewing the event viewer but didn't see anything interesting there. Turns out you were spot on with the error log, though. In the log the ISY was failing to resolve the DNS name for the portal. (I guess I missed a checkbox on the router after upgrading to allow the DNSMasq option. Not sure why it didn't affect my other devices). After resolving DNS for the ISY I'm now able to conserve calories and have Alexa manage the lights once again. Thanks! 1
