Fighting an intermittent issue

Featured Replies

Posted

Have a system of 4 KL v.26's and about 30 SL v.35's.

Have been experiencing intermittent response issues from a couple of KL scene buttons. Some scenes never have an issue. I was able to capture the following log when a responder did not respond.

I am seeing some communication messages when logging on to the ISY for a few of the SL's, but have never gotten one for the one in this log file. The com errors always seem to be the same ones, but not always the same ones on every login.

In the following log the first on and off were fine, the final on was ignored. Any thoughts?

I do not claim to understand all those log file lines, but I associate those max hop statements with less-than-robust communication. I would be looking for sources of electronic noise and interference. Do you use any filters? Access points?

You may be wasting time looking for comm. problems here . I believe that v.35 sldimmers are problematic. I've replaced many ( as have others ) to achieve a stable network.
